Ra...]]> Jazz is often associated with sex and pleasure. There are many tracks that bring a seductive mood to the listener. The melody of the saxophone is one of the largest contributors to this factor. Not only it is played very sensually and passionately, but it gives off a tune that contributes to romantic pleasures.

In one episode of Sex and the City, Carrie dated a jazz musician named Ray. In their second day, she was quick to show off her rigid mattress as Carrie slept with him while listening to jazz music. Ray introduced her to the genre and how it helps with the pleasure of sex. She described her experience as “mind-blowing” to her friends Samantha, Miranda, and Charlotte. She also noted that she does not experience this unless she is in love with the person.

By seeing her description, jazz definitely contributed to the pleasure she experienced with Ray. There’s a little bit of history to this connection. Jazz came from the word jass, which meant sex. The music also emerged from New Orleans’s red-light district, according to Hugh Hefner, the founder of the Playboy Magazine. Some studies also show that people who enjoy jazz have 34 percent more sex than those who listen to other genres. Listeners of classical music got the lowest percentage. This means that people who listen to jazz frequently are more sexually active than those who are not fans of the genre.

Another factor is with Ray’s attitude with the music. He is so passionate about jazz and playing instruments that she considered Carrie as an instrument too, considering how good he is at playing it. Jazz musicians are really into their instruments while playing their music like their soul is lost in the melodies they produce. They feel every sensation while their eyes are closed, enhancing the sound of every note.

There is a clear connection between jazz and sex. People hear a passionate melody because the musicians themselves give pleasure to the instruments that they are playing. This is what inspired Carrie in the bedroom. Jazz music by itself is already pleasurable to listen to. What more if someone played jazz and made you the instrument?

Jazz Night in the Park http://www.gcehjazzfest.com/2017/08/jazz-night-in-the-park/ http://www.gcehjazzfest.com/2017/08/jazz-night-in-the-park/#respond Fri, 11 Aug 2017 13:45:36 +0000 http://www.gcehjazzfest.com/?p=15 premium indoor water fountain. A jazz gig at ...]]> When you hear jazz music, it is very distinct in style and sound compared with other genres. It generates a relaxing mood and creates a classy ambiance. Sometimes, you jive to the music, making you want to tap your feet to the floor and move your body to the beat. This is especially so if you have the soothing sound of running water nearby from a premium indoor water fountain.

At the right place and moment, jazz can really set up the mood of everyone who hears it. A jazz gig at Grant Park in Chicago was held in June. Musicians gathered and played jazz in front of 300 to 500 people that evening. The performance started at 7 in the evening. The location of the gig was near the Buckingham Fountain, and it added to the mood of the evening.

The musicians were playing while the fountain looms at the distance. Along with the music, the splashes of water created by the fountain set a relaxing tone. With every note played on the saxophone and the soft thump of the bass drum, the audience enjoyed every moment. The evening was slow as the people closed their eyes to savor the melody.

The Grant Park Band opened the night with a somber melody that helped dictate the mood of the entire night. Shiela Jordan upped the ante with her signature bebop style that gave a rush to the audience, followed by Gillespie’s protégé Jon Faddis. His trumpeting skills are one of a kind among the contemporary bebop musicians in this age. Jason Moran with his piano channeled his inner Monk with the grace of his fingers every time he struck a chord. Other local talents showcased their skill in jazz. And to bring down the concert to a close, the band played again with their concluding melody.

The gig is a very memorable one. There is no pleasurable experience in music that will surpass live performances. Along with the music they play are the ambiance of the place, and the stillness of the moment.

There will be paper works and extensive manpower required, but people with a passion for music, especially jazz, can easily ignore how hard the process is as long as the event will be a success, making sure that the audience is satisfied. You can just imagine me driving around a large ZTR mower to have the parks in a perfect condition for the event.

It all starts with an idea and a purpose. You should have a definite mission stating why you will do this kind of event. This makes your concert stand out among others. Festivals such as Rudiosa Festival feature exclusively Latin American musicians. You should have your own purpose and goal in organizing a concert. Once you have your idea in place, you must secure the lineup of artists. Of course, you can include big names in the industry if you have the right budget and sponsorships to offset the costs of talent fees and the overall cost of producing a concert. Most of the time, they have busy schedules so make sure to book them as early as 4 months before the concert.

Securing a location is the next step after you have gathered your lineup. Make sure that the location is appropriate for the audience and musicians alike. Expect a number of people that will come to your concert. If your audience will stand on a grass field, make sure that the grass is properly mowed. Consider also the weather conditions on the day of the concert so you can determine if you need tents for the audience. You should also secure permits from the local government office.

Marketing your concert should be the next step. You can hire marketing specialists to do the job for you, or you can promote it on Facebook and other social media sites, which is free. Word-of-mouth marketing still goes a long way, but having a plan for marketing content such as flyers, posters, and viral videos will skyrocket the interest of the people to go to your concert.

Before the concert, make sure that you planned the program and itinerary of the event. Create a production team so you can delegate individual tasks to them. This will make the event flow much smoother. As long as the audience enjoys the concert, the artists are paid well, and the sales went higher than the cost, you will have a successful concert.
